개인 재산에 관한 재무제표

Personal financial statements는 주로 Statements of financial condition과 Statement of changes in net worth로 구성 되며 이는 금융권, 보험 또는 임대차 계약시 필요하게 됩니다.

특별히 정해진 양식이 있지는 않지만 많은 경우에는 이미 작성된 서식에 필요한 정보를 기입하면 됩니다. Statements of financial condition는 대차대조표(Income Statements)와 유사하며, the estimated current value of asset, the estimated current amount of liabilities, the estimated tax and net worth로 구성됩니다. Statement of changes in net worth는 Income statement 또는 Statements of cash flow 와는 상관 없이 net worth가 변동된 주요 사항들을 나타냅니다.

Assets 와 liabilities는 liquidity 와 maturity순으로 나타내며 cash basis가 아닌 accrual basis로나타냅니다. 또한 assets는 current value, liabilities는 current amount로나타냅니다. 예로 생명보험은 cash surrender value 즉 current value에서 outstanding loan을 뺀 금액으로 표시합니다.
